July 10, 2008- Josh Doak, our newest Firefighter/EMT on B shift began his 1st shift. Congratulations Josh. So if you see a new face around the station its probally him.
July 10, 2008 - Fire Chief Position has been posted by our Board of Directors. Chief Dave Huizenga will be retiring on September 30, 2008 he has served the Pinewood Fire District for 25 years. We wish him the best ! !
June 30, 2008 - We recently received 2 new fire trucks, engine 81 a type 1 engine / rescue truck with C.A.F.S. with the purchase of this new truck, we have also updated our Hurst tools (Jaws of Life) and rescue equipment. The second new truck is engine 86 a type 6 brush truck with C.A.F.S. for wildland fires.
